Create a logically-structured, well-argued essay in which you provide evidence from “Where Are You Going, Where Have You Been?” and the secondary materials contained in chapter 19. You do not have to include a Works Cited page, but you do need to include MLA in-text references.

The roles of men and women in the story; the way women are viewed in the story; is the world of the story a safe place for a women’s sexuality?; issues of freedom, confinement, and access to control; to what extent can the story be interpreted as having explicitly feminist concerns?; to what extent do fairy tale motifs impact issues of power; what do symbols such as the house and the cars suggest about power?; what role does music play?
